Becky Swearingen was influenced early in her life by her parents through art and design. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Interior Design at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  She then worked in an interior design studio in Northwest Arkansas for several years before moving to East Texas.  In Longview, Texas, she has worked in different aspects of the design field from retail to healthcare design before opening her own business in 1991.

Her practice, Swearingen Interior Design,  has grown consistently over the years in both residential and contract design.  She is well known for her attention to detail in all aspects.  Swearingen Interior Design has a wealth of practical experience, a great understanding of building practices, and an extensive knowledge of interior design for residential and commercial applications.
